The second on-site meeting was held in Środa Wielkopolska, Poland. It lasted between 29th May and 2nd June 2023.

On the first day the guests visited Primary School No. 3 in Środa Wielkopolska and took part in the welcoming ceremony. They also went sightseeing in the host city - they saw the gothic church and the old town, met the mayor and had a picnic by the lake.

On the second day the project group went to Gniezno - the first capital city of Poland and visited the archaeological reserve in Biskupin. It was a great opportunity to learn more about Polish history.

On the third day three project teams visited Rogalin and Kórnik. They learned more about the life of Polish noblemen in the past and about Polish national legends. They also had a chance to admire Polish nature in the beautiful park in Rogalin and during the cruise on the lake in Kórnik.

On the forth day three teams presented their national legends and went sightseeing to Poznań - the capital city of Wielkopolska Province. The participants of the meeting saw the old part of the city with the town hall and they visited the museum of Poznań croissant.

The fifth day was a visit to the local attraction - the narrow gauge train round house in Środa Wielkopolska. Project participants had also the opportunity to meet Turkish people living in Poland and eat Turkish kebap.

The meeting in Środa was another chance to learn more about each other's culture and find what is common for all of us. We are looking forward to the next meeting!
