virtual meeting in Poland
The first virtual meeting was held by Polish team in February 2023. It started on 20th February and lasted five days. On each day project teams from three partner schools met online on Teams and learned about culture and traditions of partner countries.
On the first day the participants presented their countries, towns and schools. Then they took quizzes about three countries. In the afternoon each project team made a multimedia presentation about their national holidays.
On the second day we learned about celebrations of national holidays in three countries. Next, Polish team presented how to make a national rosette. Finally students from three countries made their own national rosettes.
The third day was devoted to family celebrations. First, Polish team presented how they are celebrated in Poland. Then the participants of the meeting watched a tutorial about how to make a vlog. Finally each team made a vlog about their celebrations.
On the fourth day we concentrated on spring celebrations. Polish team showed their partners how they celebrate the coming of spring and Easter. Then each team decorated Easter eggs.
The last day was a summary of the meeting. We presented the Easter eggs and our vlogs, took part in an online quiz and Polish team taught their partners how to sing "Sto lat!" - a traditional Polish song sung on birthdays. Then each team recorded how they sing it. It was much fun.
The virtual meeting in February was an enjoyable time spent together. We learned a lot about each other, about the culture and traditions in Slovakia, Turkey and Poland and we had a lot of fun!
